Harmony Health Care Clinic in Little Rock says the need for care for the uninsured is so great it is now booking appointments 2 weeks in advance. The clinic provides free care for individuals and families who make too much to qualify for Medicaid, but not enough to afford their own coverage.
The clinic director says right now 20% of Arkansans are uninsured. Harmony Health sees 44 patients a week and is now offering free dental care.
The clinic says it is in need of more donations and volunteers.
